She was alive, amazing everybody said. But max was hurt, shot, and she didn’t know how bad the wound was. Probably not too bad, since she hadn't passed out yet, and there he didn’t seem to be much blood. She’d been hanging on to the top of a tree for hours, hidden in thick branches. At least she hoped she was hidden. She tried to be still. Silent, to. Invisible three. Max was shivering, and the whole thing was crashing out of control. She really, really wished Matthew was with he. They would give each other strength and hope and words of wisdom. It had always been that way with the two of them. They were inseparable at the school. The woods were crawling with men. Bad ones the worst creatures imaginable. There at least a half dozen of them.

The book that i am reading is called Rome.In rome men battled wild animals like lions,tigers and others.If you was a boy you didnt wear pants instead of pants you wear long shirts.Ancient romans were also great builders.They build waterfalls and roads so they could go place to place.they say no longer do roman empire exists.If you lived in a long city like roman,they say that familys live in one room apartments that were build up to five stories.I learned that in ancient rome the buildings were made of wood and since there homes were made of that they didnt cook in there house.The other thing i learned was they spoke latin in you lived in ancient rome.The last but not Leasted things was that the capital of Italy was Rome. My reflection is that i wouldnt want to live in rome because i would have to wear a long shirt and no pants nasty.
the book i read today is called as the roadrunner runs its about a train that runs vs a road runner. in the desert and always making it to the endit show you the desert and all the desert have in .itpasing the traiding postthe old houses in the desertthe passes of tall rocks.it shows you the forest and all the animals in the forest and shows alot of stuff in it.it shows you the deer,s map.it shows you how the deer cant live in the desert and all that stuff.
Today I read about race. I learned that in black history month black people feel more comfortable. Unless they have a Persian gulf. Because it reminds then of the race burden. There is something about black history month. Now at least six weeks long since Martin Luther King’s birthday is in the middle of January. It gives them an early time for festivities. At first it wasn’t called black history month it was called Negro History Week named by Harvard PH.D.
I thought this book was ok I don’t like races some I think its wrong how people look at each other with color and not the insides.

Today I read the book Illustrated Book of Pregnancy & Baby Care. The chapter i read about today was called Ear Problems. In this chapter i read about how ear infections start. Ear problems in small children come form an infection of the outer or middle ear. Most ear problems are caused because the tube connecting the ear and the throat becomes blocked. Ear infections are dangerous only if they are not treated promptly. There is a risk that pus may build up behind the eardrum, and eventually burstit or that infection may spread into a bone behind the ear. Wax sometimes accumulates in the ear, giving a feeling of fullness or partial deafness.
Reflection:
I think that this chapter is very important when you have children. When you have children you need to watch out alot for their health. An ear infection hurts real bad so i think its really important to take care of your children so they won't get that type of infection. An imporatnt fact that i thought was most intresting is that Middle ear cavity contains three tiny bones that transmit sound signals to the inner ear.

Rome
Today i read about how they used to live back in the Roman empire. The Romans used to wear things called togas and the women whore stuff called shawls. They used to go to a type of stadium and the men would battle animals like lions and things like that. They lived in things called atrium it was a kind of house. There houses were made of wood.

The book I read was about why a baby says goo. A baby says goo because it is the baby’s war cry. The baby is happy because he remembers the time when he won the battle with the chief in the wigwam of the wise old man. On thing I liked about this book was when they were talking about this maple sugar stick. And the one in the story who was sucking on the maple sugar stick was a little fat baby who only sat on the floor. he looked so sweet and seemed happy.

Today I read about people leaving the south and they talk about how they don’t want to leave the south. And they say that is called the great migration they moved from the south because it was to difficult for people in the south so that’s why they moved to the north. and they say that the thirteenth Amendment had abolished slavery
the name of my blook is called "I Ching" the consistingof a set of 64 hexagrams or six lined figures each with a name and description the I Ching can be consulted.
Today reading I learn about The civil war ended slavery but left the south a ruined land. The rebuilding of the south was called reconstruction {1865-1877}. In 1865 congress set up the freedmen’s bureau to help make life better for the freed African Americans. Many people in the south were not ready to accept African Americans as equals. They wanted things to remain as they had been before the Civil War. By 1877 Reconstruction was over. Some states required voters to be able to read and understand any section of the state constitution. Without an education most African Americans.

The book I read today was called "Death & Grief". Basing on what I read today, Julie, a student was not very happy because of the fact that she had to move and her new school was something that she wasn't really loooking forward to. When the school pulled up to pick her up, she felt a cold gust of wind. When she got out, she wasn't in a hurry to get home, she was just glad she was out of school. Julie had a hard time keeping her mind on work assignments, she only kept thinking about how different everything was from her old school. While she was walking home, she saw two frineds talking and laughing and right at that moment she remembered her best friend Amy, who had been her friend since kindergarten. They would also walk home from school together.

The book I read today is called Illustrated Book of Pregnancy & Baby Care. The chapter I read is called Coughs and Infections. In this chapter it talks about what to do when your baby has a cough. Most coughs in small children are a symptom of a cold or the flu. A cold or the flu feels like a ticklish cough. A cough may also be a symptom of a chest infection or an early sign of the measles. Your child might get a chest infection after getting a cold or the flu, if the infection spreads down toward his lungs. Occasionally, a chest infection develops as a complication of the measles or whopping cough.
Reflection:
The book I read today is the book I read all the time. I am very interested in baby stuff. Maybe someday when I have my own kids I will know alot of stuff about them because of what I read in this amazing and interesting book. A interesting fact that I read about in the book today is croup is an inflammation of the larynx or voice box, which makes it swell, so that your child finds it diffucult to breathe.
Todays book was about lizards and it also shoed and tought to you about their diet. The food that these lizards eat and find tasty would be wat we call discusting ot gross. There is hundreds of lizard speasies some big others small and all are diferent colors. Lizards are also good hiders because most of them con camoflash and also change colors.
