TODAY I READ A BOOK CALLED rome. THIS BOOK WAS ABOUT THE CAPITAL OF ITALY.THIS BOOK HAD INTERISTING POINTS IT WAS ABOUT THE PALACE THEY BUILT IN ROME.IT HOLDED 50,000 PEOPLE.AND SOMETIMES THEY WOULD FIGHT LIONS,TIGRES AND OTHER ANIMALS.ALSO THAT IF U LIVED IN ROME U NEEDED TO SPEAK LATIN.IF U WERE A BOY U NEEDED TO WEAR LONG SLEEVE NOT PANTS.THIS BOOK WAS ABOUT HOW LONG IT TOOK THEM TO BUILT THE HUGE PALACE.THEY SAID ABOUT 25 YEARS JUST TO BUILD THAT THING.

Today i read a book called who moved my cheese. It's about two mice named Scuffle and Scurry and two lil people named Ham n Hem. They all worked hard for their cheese until one day they went their and their whole routine was thrown off when they went and their cheese was missing. Now the lil mice and the lil people are really upset and they are gunna begin there search for there missing cheese.
I read 10,001 hints and tips for the home and i read how to make party drinks for kids like a magic drink by putting chocolate chps in the freezer and living them in there for about 30minutes and then put them in the lemonadeand they will flowt up and down.
Today I read a book called holes. Its about kids that get in trouble. They have to go and dig holes. They are digging in a place that used to be a lake. But then the lake dried up and so did the town. So they sent bad kids that get in trouble with the law to the old town to dig holes. They stay there and work till they have completed a hole. I thought this book was good because it shows that there is a place for everybody that cases trouble. I think that holes is a great way to turn some one bad to good.

this story is about this gurly named katie.she lived in a little home town with her two brother and sister,and her mother and father.mom used to never be home.father was always trying to take care the kids.one day when katie came home she seen her brother and sister sleeping on the living room floor,with no body lookin out for them.Katie looked around the whole house and hadnt seen any adult around.when she called her mom she had said that they were at the hospital for major problems that had happened to her father.As soon as Katie heard the bad news.she wnt straight there and had found that her father had passed away.=[
Today what I read about was about cells and some facts about the human body. One thing I learned was body systems are made up of organs containing different tissues. Also a tissue is a collection of similar cells that perform a specific function. Over 200 types of specialized cells act as the body’s building blocks. Cells contain structures called organelles (“little organs”), which carry out many vital functions. And one interesting fact is three billion cells die every minute; most are renewed.
today i read a book called east asia it about the culter of east asia.it show you all aboout what they have in east asia and the angkor and stuf like that.the khmer kingdom that they hade like 1,200 year agothat it was wher the mekong river in now what now is cambodia.it shows the hidden ruins at ancient angkor that is in east asia is hidden so secret.they show you how to fly a kite in east asia how they fly kites over ineast asia.the japanese history in the tradition like the kite is a tradition in east asia kite flying in japan began more thet 1,00 years ago.they have kite wars to see how has the best kite in all japan they dont take there kids their leave ther childs at home

In one of his letters that he wrote to duke of milan, he bragged about his ability to invent weapons.Leonardo hated wars but yet he already created plans for weapons including explosive shells a steam-powered cannon, and even tanks.Leonardo da Vincis Mona Lisa is one of the worlds most famous paintings that they have in this book.Claiming it was never finished, he took it with whenever he went.

the book i read todey is called chicken soup for the soul.the chapther is called The smile. its about this guy thats locked up and he meets this one guy and as soon as he meet him he smiled and he talks about how as soon as he saw him he felt a mutual connection and that he had a feeling in his soul. and it also talks about other things like what else makes u smile, and it says, love,friendship,and babys is another thing that make u smile.i think this book might help u get throgh life easier
In the story the scarlet ibis is about a boy that has a brother name armstong wind but his older brother doesnt like him so he wants to kill him and he trys to choke him. But the doctor said that he couldnt get too excited or too hot or too cold because he has a weak hear. but arm strong is a little boy who is sicked and he cant walk or do things like a normal kid so his older brother decides to put himupside down but his heart doesnt let him do it because he feels some kind of love for his little brother so he decides to teach him how to wal. so the weeks passed and he is teaching his little brother how to walk. slo he kind of learns how to wak and he wants to show his mom and dad that doodle knows how to walk and then he teaches him how to swim. so then they see a bird in their back yard but the bird has a weak heart like doodle so the bird dies and doodle decides to burried himinthe backyard . then when doodle and his brother went to swim they saw a lot of birds and they decide to come back and when they awere coming back doodle's brother decides to live him behind and he does so doodle's says "no brother" "no brother dont live me" but he does so when doodle's brother decides to stop and wait for doodle and he sees that he is not coming he decides to go ever there and look for him but when found him he was dead already and burried him in the forest like doodle did with the little bitrd.
i like this story and i would like to look for the book.
Today I read the book called Illustrated Book of Pregnancy & Baby Care. I read a chapter about skin problems. Minor skin problems are common in childhood. Most clear up quickly, but some are very contagious, and must be treated promptly. If your child has a rash combined with other signs of illness, he may have an infectious illness. A spot is a small red swelling, usually on the face. A boil is an infection in the skin that causes a large, painful lump, which then festers to produce a head of a pus in the middle. Don’t worry if your child gets occasionally spots, but recurrent boils may be a sign of illness.
Reflection: What I read today was very intresting. Each time I read something in this book it gets me more and more stuck on it cause of all the interesting stuff it talks about and that it explains. I honestly had no idea that a boil could be a sign about an infection. A very interesting fact that I read in this chapter was that boils are most likely to occur on the face or on pressure points such as the buttocks, but they can appear anywhere on the body.
Title: California Motorcycle Handbook 2007 The book that I read today is about motorcycle. I also talks about how to get a motorcycle license its called class M. Another thing that this book talks about is the rules that you must follow to handle such a powerful vehicle. Some kinds of rules are you must wear a helmet. Another rule is that you must one have one other person on the bike with you.
Reflection: I really feel that this is a very good book. I enjoy reading this book.
Today I read about Volcanoes. I read that many of the islands of East Asia are actually peaks of volcanoes that rise from the ocean floor. Earth’s crust is made up of gigantic Slabs of moving rock called tectonic plates. When two or more plates push against each other magma can escape from deep inside Earth. Gases in the magma quickly expand like the bubbles in an unopened can of soda that has been shaken. When magma pours out of the earth it is called lava. While some volcanoes are active others remain dormant or inactive. Mount Pinatubo in the Philippines had been dormant for 500 years. In 1991 it awoke spewing hot ash and superheated gases for months. Within hours of mount Pinatubo's eruption heavy rains began to fall. Ash and rocks turned into rapidly moving lahars {LAH harz} a Javanese word for mudflow.
The book I read today would probably be the most interesting book I've read in this class so far. It is Called " The Code". The Narrator/first person was remembering when his younger brother Hntsa would always beat him playing Nintendo basketball. He couldn't believe it. He remembers his brother "destroying" him in the game. He would practice when his brother wasn't there but Hntsa would still have the ability to defeat him. Finally he asked him how, when even practing all day, Hnta had the ability to beat, Hnta turned his joystick upside down and showed him a button. It was the turbo button. Playing video games with Hntsa reminded him of a "turbo button" he had discovered in life. The narrator explains how a turbo button in life can take you to achievements you've never thought you would acheieve. Think of the turbo button as a "PRESS IF YOU WANT TO TAKE ACTION TO IMPROVE YOUR LIFE". The narrator also explains how his older brother had his turbo button on and would set goals in life and succeed. I Thought the book was really interesting. I think I'll get the Turbo button anology and use it in my life.
title: world folktales in this book theres alot of stories the one i read was about a fisherman and a ginie. the storie is about a fisherman who was so old and poor that he could barely support his wife and three children. every day he went fishing very early but he never threw his nets into the sea that much. then he finds a ginie and the ginie threaten the fisherman of death if he didnt talk to him more politely then he told the fisherman his storie of why he would kill him

2/15/11 Rodriguez Stephanie Today's news reported that on, Monday in Florida's highway authorities found a dead body on a truck, and a boy and a men in serious sickness conditions . This started in the morning when a pest control truck made a stop to the side of the road on I-95 in the West Palm Beach area. Both the men and the boy were taken to the hospital as soon as the firefighters found them. Some of the firefighters even got sick from the smell coming from the truck, and had to be hospitalized. Hazardous material teams were called, because they found a dead body in the truck insider a bag. The substance that sickened people was a jug of an acid-based solution, reported the affiliate.
Rodrigues Stephanie Today's current event is about three deputy U.S marshals shot Wednesday has died according to U.S marshals service spokesmen Jeffrey Carter. While serving an arrest warrant in Elkins, West Virginal the officer died from a shotgun blast. One continues to recover from his injuries, the other one has been treated and released. Their condition was not immediately known.
