Security forces in Libya are allegedly using sexual enhancement drugs as a "machete" and gang-raping women they stop at checkpoints, the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court has said."There are rapes. The issue is who organized them," Luis Moreno-Ocampo told CNN's Nic Robertson. "They were committed in some police barracks. Were the policemen prosecuted? What happened?" he asked. Moreno-Ocampo said the criminal court has information about women who were stopped at checkpoints and, because they were carrying the flag of the rebels, were taken by police and gang raped. He also said there were reports of the use of male sexual enhancement drugs, which he called a "tool of massive rape."

Today I read about a puppy that survived an attack from a coyote. A witness said that the coyote straight took the puppy from the middle of the litter and took off with it. Luckily the puppy managed to escape the fierce bite. The puppy did escape but not without a big open wound on the puppies left side of his body. Another testimony person said “you don’t have to be in a rural area for there to be coyotes I've seen some in balboa park”. The puppy is now up for adoption for almost 300 dollars & a microchip fee. The vet says that the puppy does not seem to have any long term damage, except for the skin to tighten around the wound. But besides that he is said to be a healthy 40 pound happy family dog. Who ever adopts this puppy will get 2 SeaWorld passes and a free stay at a hotel with the puppy.

Today I read about, the Security forces in Guatemala have found 27 bodies, the majority of which were decapitated, at a farm in the northern region of Peten, Col. Rony Urizar, an army spokesman. Among the victims were two women and 25 men. Urizar declined to say what might be behind the killings, but did not rule out the possibility they could be related to drug trafficking. Guatemala has seen a significant spike in drug violence, including clashes between authorities and members of the Zetas drug cartel. More than 200,000 people have been killed in Guatemala since 1970, mostly as a result of organized crime, drug-trade violence and a 36-year civil war that ended in 1996.
Tuesday- Today I read about donald trump and how he decided not to run for president. He said "After considerable deliberation and reflection, I have decided not to pursue the office of the presidency“. With his typical bravado, Trump maintained that he would have won the Republican primary and the general election, but recognized that "running for public office cannot be done half-heartedly."

Today I have read about a 20 year old Australian man died of planking. The activity has been growing in popularity in Australia as more and more people post photos of themselves “planking”, or lying prone in various odd or humor locations, on various social media sites. Acton Beale, 20 died when he lost his footing and fell from the balcony of a high rise building while attempting to “plank”. The 18-year-old victim and two companions were involved in an altercation with heavily tattooed, bald-headed white males. Noting that the shirtless suspects fled southbound in the east alley of 30th.
Tuesday. Today I read about a man named Abdel Bari Atwan. He says he spent three day with Osama Bin Laden, and interviewed him. Abdel stated that Bin Laden was a calm, humble, and polite person. He even said that it is hard to reconcile that a man like that can be the man behind so much terror. Bin Laden told his story, and Atwan found out that Osama was the 43rd kid out of 53 children his father had. As a kid he was quiet, but he became his father’s favorite. Osama would go to meetings with him and religious talks. At age 10, Osama’s dad’s private plane crashed, and all on board were killed. The pilot was American. This leads Abdel to believe that this reason is why Osama might hate Americans so much.
Today I read about how a 16 year old boy was charged as an adult for murdering two british men. Shawn A. Tyson was charged with two counts of first-degree murder in last month's shooting deaths of James M. Cooper, 25, and James Thomas Kouzaris, 24. Tyson will be tried as an adult and, if convicted of first-degree murder, could receive life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.

If missile defense systems are to be developed -- which would mean the disruption of strategic parity -- the treaty could be suspended or even terminated," he said, referring to the New START accord for which President Barack Obama has pressed hard.

Today I read about, the Russia will need to speed up the development of its nuclear strike capabilities if the United States does not convince Moscow its missile defense system isn't aimed at Russia, President Dmitry Medvedev. If missile defense systems are to be developed -- which would mean the disruption of strategic parity -- the treaty could be suspended or even terminated," he said, referring to the New START accord for which President Barack Obama has pressed hard.

According to entertainment website Radar Online, Mildred Baena is the mother of Arnold Schwarzenegger's love child. 10News found Baena's MySpace page on which she goes by "Patty" and says she's 47 years old. Baena has several photos posted on the MySpace including some with a young boy, who is presumably her son with Schwarzenegger. The boy, who is not being identified at this time, has a remarkable resemblance to Schwarzenegger. Baena worked for the Schwarzenegger family as a housekeeper for 20 years before retiring in January. The child was born 10 years ago, before Schwarzenegger ever entered politics.
Today I read about the child that was nearly killed in a DUI crash seven months ago and he is finally home from the hospital. On Tuesday, Izaiah Wallis was wearing a Chargers hat, and he left Rady Children's Hospital with his parents and some people who helped save his life. In October, the boy was in a stroller being pushed by his grandfather when a teen drunk driver strucked both of them in Oceanside. Van Kessler said Izaiah was left partially blind and paralyzed from the chest down as a result of the crash. Both of his parents had to quit their jobs to take care of their son. Izaiah will require a 24-hour care, and the family is in need of assistance in paying a medical bill which stands at $3.5 million. The teen driver who struck Izaiah was sentenced to 480 days in a youth offender program.
Today I read about how Mexican authorities found 513 illegal immigrants in 2 trailer tractors. X-rays detected the immigrants ranging from El Salvador, Ecuador, China, Japan, Guatemala, India, Nepal, Honduras and the Dominican Republic. They each payed $7,000 to travel to the United States. I was sad to read that they were all living under “inhumane conditions.” I think it’s sad and unfair that we live in such a great country and other people have to try so hard to come here because their own home is not enough to raise their families.
Wednesday- Today I read about Russia, its paranoid about the U.S. nuclear defenses being pointed at Russia. "There are no other countries apart from Russia which have those capabilities, and they will not have them in the years to come," he said. If Washington moves forward with its missile defense system, it could also prompt Russia to scrap a key arms limitation treaty, he added. "If missile defense systems are to be developed -- which would mean the disruption of strategic parity -- the treaty could be suspended or even terminated," he said, referring to the New START accord for which President Barack Obama has pressed hard.

The padres went back to losing, at Petco. They are a great team but for some reason their bats went cold VS the brewers, they were doing an excellent job at hitting the ball, when they weren't at Petco, Mat Latos got his first win, 2 games ago when they were actually playing Americas best past time. Their defense is pretty good, but just their offence is bringing them down. They have a ugly record but if they win 2 of 3 they would be looking good again.

Today I read about, Bowing to intense international pressure, Japan has taken a step closer to changing its international child custody policies. The plan basically requires an overhaul of Japan's family law system. Bishop said he was driving his 2010 Nissan Frontier on the I-805 near Mission Valley when the brakes went out and he was able to stop the truck on the shoulder when smoke started to fill the cab.

Friday. Today I read about a 20-year-old girl who had disappeared from Surif, a city Northwest of Hebron. She had been missing since April 20, 2010. On that day, Ayah Baradiyya left her house in the morning to go to her University, to take some important exams. Ayah never made it home that day. At first her parents thought she had left with a 38-year-old that was to marry her. But he had nothing to do with her disappearance. However he had been arrested for 35 days. Early this month, her body was discovered in a well close to her village. Some clues led to believe that her uncle had something to do with her dissapearance. He was arrested, and interrogated. He then later confessed that he had killed her to preserve the family’s honor. He said that she was participating in premarital sexual acts and deserved to die. The uncle, and two other suspects might be sentenced with the death penalty.

Today Friday I read about abortion in Texas the law that takes effect is on September 1 . The law says that at least 24 hours before an abortion is performed women must undergo a sonogram, a procedure that uses ultrasound to create an image. In my opinion I don’t believe in abortion because theirs could be one risk that you can die .
Sometimes even the doctors get scared cause it’s a big risk .

After the opening-day game in Los Angeles, the 42-year-old man was walking in the Dodgers Stadium parking lot when he was hit from behind with an object, police and his mother said. There are no indications that he knew the assailants, or that they attacked him for any reason beyond the fact he was wearing gear of the San Francisco Giants, who are the Dodgers' biggest rivals. But after the game, the two men came up to him in the parking lot and began kicking and punching him while yelling profanities about the Giants.

Crews are checking to see whether the dam was damaged by the quake and so far, there is "no risk," said Veysel Eroglu, the environment minister.
Today I read about the death of a disappeared woman named Ayah. She was a student at Hebron University and was 20 years old. After not coming back after going to do her exams, she was reported missing. The police searched for her but were unsucessful. Until now, Ayah's remains were discovered in a well barely about two miles from her family home. Police were alerted to the scene by a shepherd who had wanted to fetch water from the well and been overwhelmed by a dreadful smell, Ayah’s decomposing body. Ayah's 37-year-old uncle had something to do with her death. Within 3 hours he confessed. The interegation states: "There are no houses, no people there, it is an abandoned area. She was pleading (to) her uncle on the way. 'Why are you taking me? Where are you taking me to?' He hit her many times and told her: 'We will kill you.' She continued pleading: 'Don't kill me, I did nothing. What did I do for you to kill me?' But he told her: 'You should die,' " said Awad, recounting the killer's confession. The uncle told police he killed his niece to preserve the family's honor, believing she had engaged in improper sexual relations. There are things such as “Honor killings” from where they live. "This is not an honor killing. I hope all of us will stop using this term. It has nothing to do with honor. It only has to do with taking the life of a human being,"
Friday- today I read about Ayah Baradiyya. They found out that she was dead wrapped in blankets in the back of an ambulance. Thousands of people follow the procession to the cemetery or watch from the streets and rooftops. Fears that have plagued her and her family over the past year are now a certain reality. Ayah will never walk the path to their front doorstep again. This is a community in shock, whose grief and anger at Ayah's murder is echoing beyond the pastoral hills of Hebron and into the West Bank.

The padres won, I think they started to swing their bats. Mat Latos will pitch against the mariners to start inner league play. Mat Latos only has one win this season, if the padres want to win their division, Latos needs to pitch better than he has, and the offense needs to pitch in. The padres have speed and power but they just cant hit the ball. They have a ugly looking record but that’s doesn’t mean that they cant turn it around.
