6-6-11 Today I read an article with the name of “At least 25 die in Iraq violence as reform deadline arrives”. I read that 25 people, including five U.S. soldiers, have died in a series of explosions across Iraq. I read that the attack occurred at the gates of a fortified compound housing a mosque and several palaces that once belonged to Saddam Hussein. It killed 23 people and wounded 60 I read. In other attacks, four relatives of an Iraqi police officer died. Two others were wounded after insurgents exploded bombs they planted around his home. If violence increases and instability persists, the countries could agree to keep some U.S. troops in Iraq, where about 46,000 U.S. military personnel are currently based.

Today I read about, apple unveils icloud and new operating systems. The free service replaces a product called Mobile Me and piggybacks on the idea of cloud computing which means computer users are storing more of their information "in the cloud" of the Internet rather than on their own gadgets. All of a person's Apple device iPhone, iPads and Mac computers sync with Apple's iCloud, giving users access to their documents, photos, apps, calendars and e-mails from any location, not just on a specific gadget. iCloud only stores a maximum of 1,000 photos for up to 30 days, and it appears that it will store music that users have purchased directly from iTunes, Apple's own music store.

So now they just give it away to people in Mexico who really need it.

Today I read about, an Armed men that attacked Syrian security forces in a tense northern city on Monday, killing 120 policemen and security forces in a region where the army has carried out days of deadly assaults on protesters, Jisr al-Shughour, about 12 miles from the Turkish border, has been the latest focus of Syria's military, whose nationwide crackdown on the revolt has left more than 1,200 Syrians dead, activists say. The town was a stronghold of the country's banned Muslim Brotherhood in the 1980s. Human rights groups said at least 42 civilians have been killed there since Saturday. Monday's state television report said the officers were ambushed as they responded to calls from residents for protection from the armed groups. It said 20 policemen were initially killed, and then the groups blew up a post office and attacked a security post, killing other forces.

In today's reading, The presence of a decomposing human body is the only plausible explanation for the odor in Casey Anthony's trunk and the results found in forensic testing, a scientist testified Monday in her capital murder trial. Testing was conducted on carpet samples from the trunk of the Pontiac Sun fire, along with a spare tire cover, scrapings from the wheel well and air samples, Arpad Vass, a senior research scientist at Tennessee's Oak Ridge National Laboratory, testified in the Orlando, Florida, courtroom.

Monday. Today I read about the Casey Anthony case. Trial is still going on and Casey has not been convicted about her daughter’s death. Many forensic studies have already shown that it is clear there was some sort of decomposition inside the trunk of the car. The carpet smelled of it, and there was a high amount of chlorophyll, unusually high. Even dogs trained for cadaver search, have alerted to it. Casey is now even closer to been convicted with the death penalty, and many of her lies have already been revealed.

The padres are doing great with their home games so far their 8 out of 11. They are 1 game behind the 4th place Rockies and six games behind the Division leading Giants. The padres still have a decent chance of winning their division and going to the playoffs. They swing their bats and that might happen, because the division is open for any team. The Diamond Backs and the Giants are half game behind of each other. The division title will go to the last game like last season.

This morning I read about how A crime scene technician testified in Casey Anthony's capital murder trial Tuesday about a bag of trash found in the Orlando woman's trunk, where prosecutors allege Anthony also put her 2-year-old daughter's body. The bag of trash, which sat in Anthony's trunk during the heat of a Florida summer for weeks, has been suggested as a possible source of the odor emanating from the trunk. However, prosecutors and witnesses have maintained the odor was identifiable as human decomposition. Asked on Tuesday what the trash smelled like, crime scene technician Gerardo Bloise said it smelled like garbage. He told jurors it did not smell the same as the other odor in the trunk. The trash bag held items including food wrappers, soft drink cans, pieces of an empty pizza box and napkins, Bloise testified. He said some of the items were wet when he received them and he put them in a "drying room" -- common procedure for wet evidence. On cross-examination, defense attorney Jose Baez alleged that drying the napkins and then putting them in a plastic bag rendered them useless for DNA testing. But Bloise insisted he was following proper protocol, saying he did not think after visually inspecting the napkins that DNA testing was necessary as he did not detect the presence of blood. Casey Anthony, 25, faces seven counts in the death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, including first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and misleading investigators. If convicted, she could face the death penalty.

5-7-11 Today I read an article with the name of Japan pushes estimates of initial nuclear leak upward. I read that the amount of radiation released from the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant. In the immediate aftermath of Japan's earthquake and tsunami were twice the level that the country's Nuclear and Industrial Safety originally admitted, Japan's Emergency. The new estimate does not alter the fact that the amount of radiation leaked at Fukushima is but a fraction compared to Russia's Chernobyl disaster I read. Also that it does put the amount closer in line to some outside estimates.

Within three to four minutes of being given a command to search in the yard, "I saw there was an area of interest he kept going back to and sniffing pretty hard," Osceola County, Florida, sheriff's Sgt. Kristin Brewer said of her dog, Bones. The dog made a second lap around the backyard and then gave his final alert -- sitting down, she said. The alert was within 6 to 8 feet of that made the same day, July 17, 2008, by another cadaver dog, named Gerus, Brewer said -- although she did not find that out until afterward. She said she and Bones returned to the Anthony home the following day, but several crime scene units were working there and "a lot of dirt, mulch, pavers ... changed the landscape quite a bit.“ Bones did not alert to any locations in the yard on the second search, she said. Gerus also did not alert the second day, Gerus' handler, Orange County sheriff's Deputy Jason Forgey, testified Tuesday. In today's reading, Miami Beach authorities are disputing an allegation by a witness to a fatal police shooting in Florida that his cell phone was "smashed" by officers because he filmed their actions. The police department denied Nacres Benoit's claim that his phone was crushed by an officer last week after he recorded a video of the fatal shooting. Authorities supplied photos of the phone in question, saying they demonstrate the phone is only slightly damaged, "and it is unknown when this damage occurred."

He had videotaped many of those scenes. All of the 103 victims were girls, except for 1 which was a boy. Some victims were as small as 2 years old.

The story about Kirk Murphy's suicide began to come to light last year with an anonymous tip: Anti-gay rights activist George Alan Rekers was traveling to Europe with a male escort. The tip came from one of the escort's acquaintances. We were skeptical, and the tipster answered our skepticism with screenshots of the e-mails Rekers had exchanged with his 20-year-old companion, whom he'd met at Rentboy.com. We used the screenshots to deduce the approximate time of the pair's return to the United States, and set off to take a picture. And so it was that on a morning in early April 2010, we found ourselves searching for parking in a congested concrete labyrinth in front of the "C" terminal at Miami International Airport.
