EXAMPLE!!!!!!!!
Title: Spices
In today’s reading I read about Mustard. I learned that mustard first came from Mediterranean countries. Mustards name came from mustard seeds with grape juice. Mustard- “must” means grape juice and “ard” comes from to burn. Mustard is very hot. I read that there are two types of mustards seeds, brown and white. It says that brown mustard has a stronger taste. The white mustard is milder. I personally don’t like either of them ,except for the spicy brown mustard! I can only put a little bit on my hotdog. I prefer ketchup over mustard.
There are three kinds of mustard, English, French and American. Americans mostly put mustard on their sandwiches, hotdogs, and burgers.
What I didn’t know before was that mustard use to be used to ease muscle pain. If you had a sore muscle, mustard would then be wrapped in cloth around your muscle pain. I can’t imagine wrapping a piece of mustard cloth on my ankle when I sprained it. It must smell afterwards!
One thing I found most interesting is that mustard was believed to ease headaches and colds. Next time when a student complains that they have a headache I am going to tll them to go and smell a packet of mustard!!
tittle: elephant
in this book i learned the the elephant is the largest land animal and the largest ones weigh about 12,000 pounds. elephants weigh about 200 pounds when their born and their about 3 and a half feet tall. elepahnts are very smart and have really good memories. elephants use their trunks like a very strong arm. elephants also use their trunks to pick up little stuff too.elephants live with big herds. sometimes boy elephants when their old live alone. elephants eat about 600 pounds and drink 40 gallons of water every day. elephants like water and love to swim. sometimes they travle very far to find some water. after they take a bath they put dirt on them selves to protect from insects. asian elephants are smaller than african elephants. and they are easaily taugh
today what i read was about wild animals. i read about how long the animals are, like there are some kind of names like the length like "head and body length" is (H&B). and i learned that the shape and size of an animals teeth can tell you all about what they eat. and also a number of hoofed animals, for example the giraffe, sleep standing up. i think this book was kind of interested because theirs some things that i didn't know and like about that the animals have different kind of length's...
title: Renaissance and Reformation
In my reading today i read about Renaissance and Reformation and how humanism changed people thinking in Europe in important ways. The renaissance began in the 1300's in the independent italian city-states, which were made up of a city and the surrounding terrotory it ruled. the spread of humanism and reading began the reformation, a movement for change in the catholic church. by the early 1600s the Renaissance spirt began to decline. however this period produced a rich and lasting heritage of thought, art, liteture, and science that has had a huge effect on world history and modern culture. my thoughts on this book i read is that i cant belive that the renaissance began in the wealthy and powerful city-states of Italy. the renaissance produced newstyle in the arts and new ideas in science. the reformation brought change to the catholic church, but also led to conflict among europes christians and to the rise of the protection religions. and the most intresting fact i learned was that the renissance peolpe got to this one place.
In the chapter I read was “death is the end of living” in this chapter there is a boy name Bryant he is a real lazy boy. The only thing he wants to do is go to his friends house every morning. One day his mom told him that he is not going anyway until he is done cleaning his room. Bryant said that he wasn’t going to complain about what his mom said. Bryant went to his room and said that he doesn’t like to clean his room. Another thing he needs to clean is his rabbit cage he said that his freaken rabbit needs to be clean every day. The next morning bryant saw the rabbit strange and his mom said that the rabbit was dead.
I think that is real hard to have a pet id you don’t really like to tak4e care of them . Another thing is that having a pet is a real problem because you need to clean it everyday. I think that it was his mistake because he didn’t want to clean his pet cage.
The fact that is the most interesting is that the only thing he wants to do is go to his friends house and never clean his room.
title Dali Spanish painter, sculptor, graphic artist, and designer. After passing through phases of Cubism, Futurism and Metaphysical painting, he joined the Surrealists in 1929 and his talent for self-publicity rapidly made him the most famous representative of the movement. Throughout his life he cultivated eccentricity and exhibitionism (one of his most famous acts was appearing in a diving suit at the opening of the London Surrealist exhibition in 1936), claiming that this was the source of his creative energy the most interesting was the fact that his drawing were kind of wack.
i think that he was a good pinter.
i also think that he deserved more prices.
i imagene that if he was alive he would be rich.

Our Lady of guadalupe is the most important religious symbol of mexico and one of the most powerful female icons of mexican culture. based on research done among second-generation Mexican culture. the person was considered to be born faceless and with a nameless heart. it was through education that the child was introduced into the tradition of the group and thus his face was gradually formed. Title:Growing Up
In reading i read about growing up.I learned that the growth is rapid during the first few years of life, and also when childern learn to walk and talk. The other thing i learned is that it steadies during childhood and then speeds up again at puberty.Did you kno that a baby may not see good when its a newborn. When a newborn is born they spent at least 12 hours sleeping.I interesting fact in this book that cot my eyes is that during puberty people became sexually mature, eggs and sperm starts being produced. My reflectionis that people are human and is very diffcult to be a mature person. My othre reflection is that its good for that baby to sleep because they need it.
Never been dissed – until now
In today’s reading i read about teen problems and relationships. Its about a girl named Darcy she is the captain of the debate team . She liked the captain from the basketball team. They both liked each other a lot but were afraid of their differences. But later on Darcy and him had a game going on and in a couple of weeks she had blackmailed him into a date. They had a real good relationship going on, despite their differences. Darcy was geeky she wore overalls and hightops.
All I remember
I read a book about Rome. In this book I read some interesting stuff about Rome. I read that Rome was the center of a great civilization along time ago. The laws and the governments were very important to its people. Ancient Romans were also great builders, especially of roads and waterways. Many of their ideas about government and building are still important today. I think this stuff about Rome and all that is very interesting. In my future I want to go to Europe to go visit and tour all those interesting places I have learned about.
